We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our ITAD Services team.

We are looking for someone to work alongside the Account Management team, to introduce Stone’s IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) portfolio to new prospects as well as develop and grow Stone’s existing customer base.

 

To be responsible for managing existing customer accounts, contract business, advising and assisting customers with their needs and requirements, as well as identifying additional opportunities to support and deliver growth in line with Stone’s targets.

 

Key tasks will involve:

 

·        Work with management team to ensure targets are on track

·        Deliver high quality meetings to qualify that the best IT equipment will be collected i.e. that it is valuable and can be re-sold

·        Work closely with Business Development Executive to arrange meetings

·        Arrange own meetings when not in meetings

·        Work closely with other sales teams and “double up” attendance at meetings working with other verticals across Stone

·        Communicate with customers as required by telephone, e-mail or letter.

·        Manage and communicate forecasts accurately

·        Attend and contribute to team meetings

·        Share ideas and experiences with team, contribute to team improvements

·        Record activity on CRM

·        Work closely and communicate with ITAD Operations ahead of collections and afterwards

·        Deal with complaints swiftly.  Correct recording and escalation.

 

The suitable candidate will have experience of:

  • Business Development or Sales Manager role for at least 2 years
  • Provenexperience of building customer data base

     

  • Experience of sales with a proven success rate working to financial targets

     

  • Proven experience of gaining new customers through prospecting

     

  • Knowledge of geographical locations within the UK

It is also desired but not essential to have:

·        Knowledge of ADISA accreditations

·        Understanding of what is valuable and can be re-sold

·        Experience working in IT asset disposal / private sector / public sector /education sector

 

Full training will be provided and continuously supported.

 

Job details:

This is a full-time position - 37 hours per week 

The working days are Monday to Friday
