Leading the way to a sustainable supply chain
The inaugural Converge Sustainable Supplier Award Winners 2025
At Converge we’re about walking the walk on sustainability by achieving clear, measurable impact throughout our business practices. In recent years Converge has invested heavily to become leaders in sustainability in the UK IT sector. However, we can’t walk this path alone. We know that making the biggest impact means developing partnerships, including those with our suppliers.
Converge made a conscious decision to become sustainability champions with a view to influencing and where possible leading and supporting our supply chain where required. This included:
- Partnering with Qonstrue - providing free support to enable our supply chain to use AI tools to help measure and improve the efficacy of their sustainability initiatives and develop SBTI Commitments.
- Committing to reach net zero emissions on scope 1 and 2 by 2030 and all scopes by 2045.
- Collaboration with vendors such as HP and Lenovo and on industry leading projects to improve the environmental sustainability of new and reused tech.
It was through our partnerships with Qonstrue, and select suppliers who’ve made real strides towards sustainability, that the idea to launch the Converge Supplier Awards was born. It’s about recognising suppliers who not only meet industry standards but lead by example, as we ourselves aim to do.
Here’s an introduction to the awards from Nigel Adair, our Head of Partner and Commercial Procurement.
Our award winners had been supported by Qonstrue who use AI tools to help business achieve sustainability and other business aims as efficiently as possible.
Our Sustainability Award Winners 2025
We selected seven winners from across our supplier base who represent the best practice across a range of categories. Large and small with diverse products and services, all have one thing in common - a genuine and growing commitment to sustainability. Here they are:

In the words of John Bird, Commercial Director at Nimans, “Our goal is to become net zero by 2030. We’ve already ensured that 100% of our office and warehouse waste is recycled. In terms of our gas usage, which was 40% of CO2 emissions, we have now switched to biogas while also switching to a renewable electricity supplier. We’ve also switched up energy efficient lighting throughout our site. These changes have already reduced our emissions by 54%’.
Converge believe that Nimans have rapidly set a new benchmark within the industry, which not only mitigates environmental impact but also inspires other businesses to action.
