Overview
The Prosafe Plus switch is an upgrade to unmanaged switch which can only Plug-N-Play, and is not configurable. Prosafe Plus switch gives user the flexibility to configure certain static layer 2 settings to better fit their needs. The GS116E is a 16-port Gigabit switch.¦GS116E supports loop detection. When a loop is detected, the both LED on the affected port will blink at a constant speed with roughly 1 every second. Dos is a form of attack on computer network resources. The Auto Dos feature of GS116E would automatically block malicious packets such as source IP equals destination IP.
