Overview
The 4E port adapter (PA-4E) provides up to four IEEE 802.3 Ethernet 10BASE-T interfaces. Each Ethernet 10BASE-T interface allows a maximum bandwidth of 10-Mbps, for a maximum aggregate bandwidth of 40 Mbps. All four ports run at line (wire) speed. The 4E port adapter can be installed on the VIP2 in port adapter slot 0 and port adapter slot 1, or in the Cisco 7200 series routers in any of the chassis' port adapter slots: 1 through 6 for the Cisco 7206.
