This product is customized for use in the UK and Ireland. What it does? The DES-1005D 5-port Desktop Switch allows you to easily connect any Ethernet-enabled device, thus extending your home network. No configuration is required, making this switch completely plug-and-play. Each of the 5 intelligent ports detects the network speed and auto-negotiate between 100BASE-TX and 10BASE-T, as well as between full- and half-duplex. Each supports auto-negotiation of MDI/MDIX cross over, eliminating the need for cross-over cables or uplink ports.
