The result is a solution that allows ProLiant customers the ability to RAID more then 8 internal drives or the ability to RAID across separate drive cages within the same ProLiant server for the highest level of availability.
- The HPE SAS Expander Card provides internal storage expansion within the DL380 Gen9 Server for increased disk storage capacity. The SAS Expander Card works with the supported HPE Smart Array or HPE Smart Host Bus Adapter by providing 12 Gb/s SAS connectivity.
