Operating system and device independence
The KP200 memory is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery and a keyboard that allows it to be unlocked without software, and then connected to any device that supports USB-enabled storage devices. This provides the user with maximum freedom to use the memory on multiple platforms with different operating systems.
Multi-PIN option
Users have the option of choosing user or administrator/user mode. Administrator mode allows the user's PIN to be restored and provides access to the memory in case the user forgets the PIN or the memory is locked after the maximum number of 10 user login attempts is reached.
General and session read-only mode options
Both the administrator and user can set a session read-only mode to protect the memory from malware on untrusted systems. The administrator can also set a general read-only mode, which will remain active until the memory is reset.
