CatX Mini AV units provide a unique solution for transmitting a sharp high quality VGA video and audio up to 150 m using low cost cat5 cabling. The CatX Mini AV Tx can transmit VGA video and audio up to 300 m.¦The CatX Mini AV Tx unit, being only slightly larger than a VGA connector, can fit directly to the VGA source. CatX Mini AV Tx consumes less than 0.25 W, taking its power directly from DDC2B compliant VGA source.¦The CatX Mini AV transmitter unit connects to CatX Mini AV Rx or any other CatX AV receiver, using standard low cost UTP networking cable. The CatX Mini AV Rx unit is the same size as the CatX Mini AV Tx, powered from a local 5 V DC power supply. Continuous adjustability ensures perfect picture at any distance up to 150 m.¦All CatX AV units are compatible with all CatX Mini and CatX AVP transmitters/receivers. Considered as the smallest VGA cat5 extender system in the market, the small size of the CatX Mini AV units ensures discrete connection to the VGA source and output display; perfect for installations with limited space.
