Converge are in the race to be Commonwealth Champions for CSR
The Commonwealth Games run in Glasgow from July 22nd to August 2nd 2026 and Converge will be there! We’re excited to be amongst the winners for The Commonwealth Environment & CSR Awards 2026.
This is recognition of our sustainability and CSR efforts which have been recognised on globally and now specifically in the commonwealth
In keeping with Commonwealth Games tradition, there will be Gold, Silver and Bronze awards and while we don’t know which we’ve won it will be an honour to be at the award ceremony on Friday 31st July. It feels extra special that the games are in Glasgow as our Bathgate site is based in the city with Paul McDavitt our Site Operations Manager and Michelle Doran Operations Manager going up on the rostrum to receive the award on behalf of Converge.
Converge’s approach to corporate social responsibility has always been to give equal importance to environmental and social responsibility goals. Whether that’s our local volunteering programme, national volunteering like that with Chapter One, our work to cut environmental impacts such as CO2 emissions and e-waste or our broad commitment to being a responsible employer, as exemplified by our commitment to being part of the Care Leaver Covenant for example.
The Commonwealth Environment & CSR Awards are run by The Green Organisation, recognising and encouraging any positive environmental and social value action from the business community. Converge is proud to be part of this movement for change.
